City of Kelowna – Accounting Assistants (Kelowna)

The City of Kelowna has three full-time opportunities with their Financial Services Department as an Accounting Assistant. These positions provide a wide range of experiences including processing payments, balancing and reconciling statements, and recording expenses and liabilities through the accounts payable/receivable sub-ledgers. This position will work cross-functionally with Planning & Procurement and is responsible for budgeting, analyzing, and reporting product costs. Vega is looking for a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 2-3 years of Cost Analyst experience in a Manufacturing Environment.
